  • 1 1/2 pounds salmon fillets whole or individual fillets
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning regular or hot
  • Chopped fresh chives or parsley for serving
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  • Pat the salmon fillets dry and transfer them to the prepared pan. Season the salmon with salt and black pepper.
  • In a small bowl, combine the butter, honey, and Cajun seasoning. Mix until blended. Spread the mixture all over the salmon fillets.
  • Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, until the salmon is fork-tender (a meat thermometer should register 145 degrees).
  • Top the salmon with fresh chives or parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
