Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds salmon fillets
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 8 to 10 street taco-size tortillas flour or corn, or a combination, warmed if desired

  • Fresh avocado
  • Sliced or shredded red or green cabbage
  • Lime wedges
  • Chopped green onions
  • Fresh cilantro leaves

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. Arrange the salmon on the prepared pan and season with salt and black pepper.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the lime juice, chili powder, cumin, onion powder, and paprika. Spoon the mixture all over the top of the salmon.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until the salmon is fork-tender
  • Break salmon into small portions and place on the tortillas. Top with desired toppings.
