Honey Garlic Steak

Stunning appetizer and/or quick weeknight meal! These cubes of juicy beef are glazed with a sweet and salty marriage of honey, soy, and garlic. Excellent party fare, and amazing when spooned over rice on a busy weeknight. It’s a knockout dish either way!

Honey Garlic Steak

This steak makes such a great presentation! That’s why you can serve it as a gorgeous appetizer or spoon the steak and sauce over rice (or Asian noodles) and serve it for dinner.

Choose your favorite cut of steak for this amazing dish. Pretty much any steak works here (except stew meat). That means you can use thin strips of flank or skirt steak, or chunks of lean steak like round and sirloin.

This makes a great last minute meal because it’s made with pantry staples. All you need is honey, soy sauce, garlic, butter, and some steak! No steak? No problem, this dish works with pork and chicken too.

Prep ahead tip: The soy sauce mixture can be prepared up to 24 hours in advance. To save time on party day or meal-prep day, cut the steak up to 24 hours in advance and refrigerate until ready to cook.

The flavors in this sauce hit your palate from all sides. The soy sauce is salty, yet perfectly balanced with the sweet honey. The garlic brings out the meaty quality of the steak, and the butter keeps flavors lingering on your palate for a delightfully long time.
