Air Fryer Sweet Potatoes

Perfectly tender sweet potatoes with magically crispy skin! And thanks to the air fryer, they’re hassle-free and ready in a flash.

Skip the oven and use your air fryer for perfect sweet potatoes every time! Not that the oven is complicated, but roasted sweet potatoes can take a bit longer to soften in the oven (depending on their size). Plus, using the air fryer frees up your oven for other jobs! Especially great during the holidays…

What kind of air fryer should you use? I used the Toshiba 8-in-1 Air Fryer & Toaster Oven. I love it because it has a variety of cooking functions, and the large capacity makes it ideal for bigger dishes (and holiday meals). You can roast, air fry, and bake, and thanks to its double-sided heating technology and 1700W power, it delivers fast, even cooking every time.

Can you use this recipe for regular baking potatoes? Absolutely! And there’s no need to change the recipe.
Just like the oven, there’s no need to flip these potatoes! Simply set your timer to 35 minutes and off you go!

What toppings should you put on your sweet potatoes? That’s totally up to you, and a pat of butter will often suffice. But if you’re looking for other ideas, consider feta and tzatziki (Greek yogurt topping), sour cream, caramelized onions and/or mushrooms, guacamole or mashed avocado, or crumbled Mexican cheese (such as queso fresco or cotija).
