Easy Steak Gyros with Yogurt-Mint Sauce

Strips of herb-seasoned, pan-seared beef, piled onto warm flatbread with sweet tomatoes, red onion, feta cheese, and the most incredible paprika-scented, yogurt-mint sauce.

These are the best gryos ever. They’re equally satisfying and refreshing, and they’re super easy to prepare! While the steak quickly sears, the yogurt sauce comes together with a handful of zingy ingredients.

You can also make these gryos with lamb and chicken if desired. There are no gyro rules, use what you have or what you’re craving!

I used warm flatbread but you can also use pocketless pitas. I suggest warming either option (either in a 200-degree oven or the microwave) before serving. When the warm bread hits the cool yogurt sauce and crisp vegetables, it’s pure heaven.

About the Greek seasoning
This recipe calls for Greek seasoning, a spice blend consisting of Mediterranean herbs (oregano, basil, parsley, dill, and sometimes rosemary). If you donโt have Greek seasoning, you may substitute Italian seasoning as it has a similar blend of basil, parsley, oregano, rosemary, and thyme.
