Baked Nutella Ravioli

Crisp wonton ravioli, filled with sweetened cream cheese and Nutella, baked under a sheen of butter, and drizzled with semisweet chocolate. Made with 6 ingredients and ready in under 30 minutes, you need these in your life.

I revamped one of our favorite desserts to make this baked Nutella ravioli! We love baked wonton wrappers in my house, whether they’re simply sweetened and served with Nutella and whipped cream (like in my Desert Nachos), or filled with sweet and savory ingredients and baked until crisp. They’re light, universally loved, and easy to work with.

These baked Nutella ravioli are perfectly creamy and crisp at the same time! The filling is a 3-ingredient blend of cream cheese, powdered sugar, and Nutella. This satiny commingling is sweet, creamy, chocolatey, and nutty. Couple that with crisp, buttered wontons and melted chocolate and it’s one incredible experience! Cracking through the crunchy wonton to reach the creamy center is total bliss.

These baked Nutella ravioli are super easy to make! You need just 6 ingredients and about 30 minutes and these sweet treats are ready to serve. Here’s the simple process: Combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and Nutella and mix until smooth. Spoon the mixture onto the center of 20 wonton wrappers (they can be round or square wrappers). Moisten the edges of the wrappers with water and top with a second wrapper. Brush the ravioli with butter and press down the edges to seal. Bake for 10 to 14 minutes, until golden brown and crisp. Drizzle with melted chocolate and serve!

You can make these baked Nutella ravioli in advance! If you want to prep the ravioli in advance, you have two options. You can assemble the ravioli as instructed and refrigerate for up to 2 days before baking. Then, bake as directed. You can also complete the entire process and store the finished baked Nutella ravioli in an airtight container, in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. I suggest you pull the cold ravioli from the refrigerator about 1 hour before serving so they come to room temperature.
Where can you find wonton wrappers? Wonton wrappers are sold in most stores, and they’re in the refrigerated section. Look for them near the tofu and/or vegan ingredients! In my store, they were in the produce section.

Baked Nutella Ravioli
Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 4 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons Nutella
- 40 wonton wrappers, square or round
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips or melting wafers
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and Nutella. Mix until well blended.
- Arrange 20 of the wonton wrappers on the prepared pan. Spoon 1 about teaspoon of the Nutella mixture onto the center of each wrapper. Use water-moistened fingers to wet the edges of the wrappers. Place a second wonton wrapper over the filling and press out as much air as possible while sealing the edges. Brush the melted butter all over the top of the ravioli. Use your fingers to ensure the butter-coated ravioli are sealed around the edges.
- Bake for 10 to 14 minutes, until the wontons are golden brown. Cool for at least 10 minutes before drizzling the chocolate over top.
- Melt the chocolate in a double boiler, or in a bowl over a saucepan of simmering water, or in the microwave, checking and stirring every 20 seconds. Use a fork to drizzle the chocolate over the baked ravioli and cool until set. You can also spoon the chocolate into a freezer bag, snip the end and pipe the chocolate onto the ravioli. Store leftovers in an airtight container, in the refrigerator, for up to 2 days.
