The Cosmo Screw

This is the ultimate cocktail mashup! This commingling of the Cosmopolitan and Screwdriver delivers the perfect balance of orange, cranberry, and lime. And vodka of course!

I’m in love with this marriage of cocktails! Imagine the perfect marriage of the screwdriver, cosmo, cape cod, and madras. Everyone’s favorite drinks, rolled into one incredible cocktail. And these measurements are spot on, so the drink is sweet, tart, and perfectly balanced.
And since we’re not making an actual cosmo, no expensive cordials are needed! Skip the Cointreau (which adds a bitter orange flavor) and use a twist of fresh orange peel instead!

We’re adding fresh lime too! There’s almost always a hint of lime in vodka drinks with juice, and the cosmo often contains Rose’s lime juice. In this cocktail recipe, we use fresh lime so the flavor is fresh and vibrant!

This recipe can also be turned in a seltzer. If you’re more a seltzer person, pour half of the cocktail recipe over ice and then fill the rest of the glass with seltzer!
