Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds jumbo shrimp size 16-20 per pound, peeled, de-veined, tail-on, thawed if frozen, patted dry with paper towels
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup white wine or vermouth or chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the shrimp and lemon pepper seasoning. Toss to coat the shrimp evenly.
  • Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp to the hot pan and cook for 30 seconds per side, until just seared.
  • Add the wine and butter and bring to a simmer.
  • Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes, until the shrimp are cooked through (pink, firm, and slightly curled).
