Lemon Pepper Shrimp

Plump and juicy shrimp, coated with citrusy lemon pepper, seared in butter, and braised in white wine. Unbelievably mouth-watering, made with 5 ingredients, and ready in under 20 minutes.

I love this ultra-healthy, gluten-free meal! It’s bright, slightly buttery, and boasts hint of lemon and wine in every delicious bite. And if you don’t want to use the wine, you can use broth instead! It will still be wonderful!

How should you serve your lemon pepper shrimp? I served our shrimp with a bowl of fluffy white rice and steamed vegetables on the side. It was perfect because the rice soaked up the light, sunny sauce, which is tangy, lemony, and sweet from the shrimp.

This dish works with scallops and salmon too! It would be the exact same process, so there’s nothing to change in the recipe!

Save money and buy frozen shrimp! Shrimp can get pricey so do yourself a favor and buy the shrimp frozen! Thaw it overnight in the refrigerator and pat dry before using. If you forget to thaw the shrimp, you can place the shrimp in a cold water bath for about 30 minutes to thaw. Don’t forget to pat the shrimp dry before coating with the lemon pepper seasoning!
How do you know when your shrimp are finished cooking? The cooking time will vary depending on size of your shrimp, but you’ll know they’re finished when they’re firm, pink, and slightly curled.
