Ingredients

  • 8-9- ounce package spinach ravioli or ravioli of choice
  • 14- ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze or 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar and 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese plus more for serving
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, combine the tomato sauce, balsamic glaze, Italian seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Set the pan over medium heat and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, cook the ravioli according to the package directions. Drain.
  • When the sauce has simmered for at least 10 minutes, stir in the parmesan cheese. Add the cooked ravioli and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes to heat through.
