Take advantage of that fact that store-bought dinner rolls are pretty awesome. They’re soft, doughy, and oftentimes addictive. But you can make them better. Something fabulous enough to serve at a dinner party, or as part of your holiday menu. And all it takes is melted butter, garlic, oregano, and basil! The butter creates a golden brown sheen, and the garlic and herbs add flavor and a toasty/nutty quality.

You might think it’s funny that I actually wrote a recipe for this. Maybe you’ve done this before. But I can tell you this – I write recipes every day and I never thought to do it. I simply wanted to jazz up dinner rolls to serve alongside pasta. The casserole was special, so I wanted to rolls to be equally awesome. A quick brush with butter, garlic and herbs – and WOW, dinner rolls transformed.

So, this is for those of you, like me, that haven’t thought of this before.
