If you haven’t smoked food before, now’s your chance! There’s no need for a cumbersome smoker either – you simply need the Foghat Smoked Charcuterie Kit and, in minutes, you can transform regular party fare into something truly incredible.

Here’s the simple process for smoking your charcuterie: Arrange your favorite foods on the center of the charcuterie board. I chose grape tomatoes, fresh mozzarella balls, colby-cheddar cheese sticks cut into squares, sliced pepperoni, blanched almonds, and mini sweet peppers. Then, cover the food with the blown glass cloche. Next, fill the stainless steel mesh guard with your favorite culinary smoking fuel (savory wood shavings). Insert the mesh guard snuggly into the wooden smoker, and insert the smoker into the opening on top of the cloche. Now, use a culinary kitchen torch to ignite the wood and watch the magic happen! The smoke works its way out of the little holes in the smoker, fills the cloche, and scents the food with flavorful smoke. It’s simply awesome!

Once you smoke food for the first time, you’ll be doing it again and again. Plus, this is a great choice for parties because once the first batch of smoked food is enjoyed, you can wow the crowd by making a second smoked charcuterie board!

There are endless varieties of smoke flavors to choose from. I used Whiskey Barrel Oak as my culinary smoking fuel, but you can also choose from a variety of flavors, such as cherry, sherry, sweet Texas mesquite, maple, and more.
