Easy Buttered Noodles with Parmesan

Tender, twirly noodles, shimmering with butter, and brimming with freshly grated parmesan cheese. You barely need a recipe for this, the ingredient list is short, the prep time is nil, and the result is amazingly delicious!

This is one of my son’s favorite dishes! So, of course, it was the first thing I made when he came home for college break! I chose extra curly fusilli noodles for fun, opted for premium quality butter and cheese, and served the dish with a warm mom smile! My heart is full when my boys are home!

This is the perfect, easy, comfort food meal. As amazing as it is just like this, the additions to this pasta dish are endless. You can stir in vegetables, such as frozen peas, steamed carrots, roasted broccoli, sautéed mushrooms, and more. This keeps the dish vegetarian too! For added protein, you can add cooked chicken, steak, or salmon.

I chose curly pasta, but any pasta shape works. I love this long fusilli, but spaghetti, angel hair, linguine, and egg noodles also work, as do penne, rigatoni, and elbows! Use what you already have on hand!

Add crushed red pepper flakes for heat and color! I like to serve crushed red pepper flakes on the side (at the table). That way, everyone can customize the dish to suit their individual tastes.
