Hot Honey Green Beans

These tender-crisp green beans are perfectly sweet and delightfully fiery thanks to a drizzle of hot honey!

I love adding sweet heat to vegetables, and hot honey is a one-stop-shop for great flavor. The honey not only amplifies the sweetness of the vegetable, the heat from the chilies adds a little kick to every bite. And you can add as much honey as you want – it all depends on how much you like the heat!

I used green beans this time, but practically any vegetable works. Feel free to try broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, baby carrots, and Brussels sprouts. Give the vegetable a quick blanch and then finish in the pan. Note: When using frozen vegetables, there’s no need to blanch them first.

These green beans make the perfect side dish for any protein. Serve them alongside roasted chicken, grilled steak, baked salmon, or seared tofu! They go with anything!
